"Recently got an 8 week old puppy and was deciding the best way to teach her how to go potty with independence and confidence. After searching on Google I came across Hakuna Pets. Not only are they fairly priced but the build quality and inclusions such as the weather panels, and magnetic strip on the bottom of the door are great."

"This is the second Patio Pet Door I have purchased from Hakuna (as my puppy grew out of the first one). I love the versatility of the product, how easy it is to install and the freedom it gives my dog to move in and out of the house. Its also great that you can get extra accessories as my dog is particularly tall. The only thing id highlight is that there is no way to lock your door whilst using the Pet Door, so security is a factor to consider. I also found that the magnet on the bottom of the Large Pet Door doesnt seem to be as strong as the one on the Medium door."
"Fits easily (to the door, I mean). I was able to get it up quickly (as in, install it). Wasn't hard. Could be a bit thicker (in terms of construction), but nobody has complained (dogs, for instance)."
"There is no place to lock the screen door to the doggie door so every time she goes through it it disconnects. It does not fit in the sliding glass door so it has to go with the screen. That means that there is a large gap so a lot of cold air comes in. I mainly purchased this so that I can keep the door open and let her go out at night so that she doesn’t wake me up. If I do that, my house would be freezing."

"I ordered an incorrect sized door in error. . . . was in too much of a hurry to notice it defaults to small, and I needed a medium. Once the door arrived, the mistake was discovered. A quick email to Hakuna Pets got me on the path to returning the door, and they were great enough to send me a link for the correct sized one. :) Don't have a pic yet, but from what I saw from the incorrect order, I'm going to be very happy with this product. Being adjustable means it will fit my shorter than average doorway. Thanks for the great customer service, prompt assistance, and directions for return/refund."

The installation was straightforward, and the mesh door feels solid while still looking sleek on my patio. My dog loves the freedom to go outside whenever he wants, and the Hakuna panels have done a great job keeping out wind and rain during bad weather. I also appreciate that they don’t block the view or natural light. Overall, it’s a smart upgrade for any pet-friendly home."
