If your home has children as well as pets it is important to remember that children can misuse the pet door and gain access to potential hazards on the other side. You may contravene municipal laws and be found guilty of an offence if there was a swimming pool on the other side of the pet door. You are further advised to be very alert to any future hazards which may occur from time to time on the other side of the pet door such as garden chemicals or insecticides which, even if only put down for a few minutes, would be dangerous to children. Remember that any closing panel or lock provided by Perma Products with this product is for simple convenience and is certainly not a security device. Furthermore we will not be responsible or liable for unintended use or misuse. Please remember it is you the purchaser who must at all times be aware of what you have allowed.

Security Screens: Use 12mm screws (tunnel is not required)
Standard Doors: Align tunnel and frames, secure with 45mm screws
Large Doors & Walls: Align tunnel and frames, secure with 58mm screws
IMPORTANT: BEFORE INSTALLING
Measure the height (x) from the underside of the dog’s stomach to the floor.
Mark height (x) on door/panel with tape or similar.
Check pet door height against your dog and adjust if necessary.
Select the type of installation from the list below.
WOOD INSTALL
Peel off template supplied in box, align bottom of cut out with height (x) and trace onto door. Drill a hole in each of the four inside corners with a minimum of 10mm (3/8”) drill bit.
SCREEN INSTALL
Peel off template supplied in box, align bottom of cut out with height (x) and trace onto door. Take the measurements needed and cut the opening using an angle grinder.
NOTE: If installing into a sliding door, check the pet door does not interfere with door operation or any other doors
GLASS INSTALL
Contact a professional glazier to cut out the opening for the pet door, use the template supplied for the correct opening size. Ensure the placement of opening will be suitable for your pet before commencing the cut.
NOTE: If installing into a sliding door,
check pet door does not interfere with door operation or any other doors.
WOOD INSTALL
Using a reciprocating jigsaw, cut out the opening, cutting along the pencil outline. Insert outer frame into opening and mark screw holes. Drill each of the screw holes using a 8mm (5/16”) drill bit.
SCREEN INSTALL
Measure the thickness of the door/panel and add 10mm (3/8”) (x) so the tunnel protrudes 5mm (3/16”) on each side. If required, cut partitions down to correct size.
GLASS INSTALL
Measure the thickness of the door/panel and add 10mm (3/8”) (x) so the tunnel protrudes 5mm (3/16”) on each side. If required, cut partitions down to correct size
WOOD INSTALL
Measure the thickness of the door/panel and add 10mm (3/8”) (x) so the tunnel protrudes 5mm (3/16”) on each side. If required, cut partitions down to correct size.
SCREEN INSTALL
Fit all four partitions into outer door frame, use peel off strips on sticker template to secure the corners. Then place into opening. If the security screen has insect mesh, place a bead of construction silicon around the internal section of the pet door and on the mesh surface. Apply this around the cut out in order to hold the mesh in place when both frames are joined.
GLASS INSTALL
Place a bead of construction silicon around the internal section of the pet door and on the surface around the cut out to provide a weather seal.
WOOD INSTALL
Fit all four partitions into outer door frame, use the peel off strips on the sticker template to secure the corners, then place into opening.
SCREEN INSTALL
Insert inner door frame into security screen. If screws protrude, trim using a hacksaw.
WARNING: Over tightening of screws may cause damage. Take care when trimming bolts to size as cutting on an angle may cause sharp edges or damage to the frame.
GLASS INSTALL
Insert the inner and outer frame into the cut out and clamp tightly together.
Please note the screws provided will not be required for this installation.
WOOD INSTALL
Screw inner door frame into door/panel. Tighten with a Phillips head screwdriver.
If screws protrude, trim using a hacksaw.
WARNING: Over tightening of screws may cause damage. Take care when trimming bolts to size as cutting on an angle may cause sharp edges or damage to the frame.
LOCKING PANEL OPERATION
You can control your pet’s access using the locking security panel.
Simply slide the panel into the channel on the inside frame until latch clips over the bottom of the frame.
FLAP ADJUSTMENT
1. Loosen screws on flap holder.
2. Adjust flap up or down to desired height, for less noise or magnet strength adjust the flap to a higher position.
3. Ensure flap is parallel with lower frame.
4. Tighten flap holder screws.
FLAP REPLACEMENT
1. Remove screws on flap holder.
2. Remove Flap.
3. Align.
4. Adjust flap to desired height and tighten screws.

The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period of 3 years from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period, under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion.
